The NSMTC Support Services department carries out day-to-day work on behalf of the NSMTC Board of Chiefs and offers operational support to all other NSMTC departments for efficacy and organizational health.
What We Do
Overseeing the organization’s daily operations and providing administrative support to the NSMTC Board of Chiefs, while managing budgets, coordinating meetings, and guiding department managers to ensure an efficient and supportive workplace.
Overseeing all finance-related activities within the organization, including accounting and reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, budget preparations, internal audits, and ensuring funding requirements are met.
Developing and overseeing data management standards, policies, and systems across all departments, promoting data awareness within our Member Nation communities, and ensuring information is handled responsibly in alignment with the principles of OCAP®
Managing recruitment, employee relations, compensation, training, compliance, performance management, and organizational culture
Coordinating internal and external messaging, creating content and promotional materials, maintaining brand consistency, and engaging stakeholders to boost organizational visibility and reputation.
Managing and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, including network systems, hardware, and software, while providing technical support, ensuring data security, managing IT policies, and implementing new technologies to improve operations.
