Oinpegitjoig (Pabineau) First Nation is located in northeastern New Brunswick. Situated on the Nepisiguit River and adjacent to Pabineau Falls, the reserve is comprised of approximately 429 hectares of traditional territory.
The community is committed to enhancing the quality of life for present and future generations through its four guiding pillars – Weaving the Fabric of Unity, Nurturing Roots and Identity, Being Guardians of the Earth, and Sowing Seeds of Prosperity. Oinpegitjoig embraces development on all fronts, valuing economic progress as well as the vitality of Mi’kmaq traditions and culture.
