Maternal Child Health and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Prevention
Maternal Child Health and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Prevention
What is Maternal Child Health & Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Prevention?
Maternal Child Health (MCH) & Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Prevention is a program offered by NSMTC Health Services. Through this program, we provide pre-natal, post-natal, and newborn care for pregnant mothers and their babies by focusing on the emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual well being of the whole family.
Our goal is to reach out to all parents and caretakers in the community that are working directly with community Maternal Child Health Coordinators and offer the support and resources needed to promote healthy childhood growth and development. We will work with each family’s individual strengths and needs, and provide them with the tools and resources needed to build a foundation for strong families.
