2026 Atlantic Indigenous-Led
Energy Symposium

September 22-24
Saint John Trade & Convention Centre
Saint John, NB

The 2026 Atlantic Indigenous-Led Energy Symposium marks our 5th year of convening First Nations leadership, utilities, government, industry, Elders, Knowledge Keepers, innovators, and youth to strengthen partnerships and advance Indigenous leadership in the energy sector.

Last year’s symposium was widely described as a standout experience. Participants praised the meaningful sessions, strong connections, and thoughtful execution that made the event both impactful and energizing. The momentum continues to build.

As we celebrate five years of growth and collaboration, we are planning what we intend to be our strongest symposium yet.

Under this year’s theme, we will amplify the Seven Generations mindset and reinforce the connectivity and teachings of our past in shaping our collective energy future for the betterment of the next generations.

More important than ever, we will create space to listen and learn from our Elders and Knowledge Keepers while continuing to balance economic growth with cultural and ecological integrity.
